Ella Cheeseman, Managing Director

Ella has over 15 years in marketing and a wealth of experience delivering successful campaigns across all platforms.  Focusing on strategic direction for both McConnells and her clients, Ella ensures ideas are turned into reality to create results.  With a passion for the food and construction industries, Ella acknowledges that it is creating a synergy with people and immersing herself in her clients’ business that creates these results.  Whether that means putting on a pair of rigger boots and a hard hat, or a white coat and a hair net, to help create strategic ideas, her satisfaction comes from clients’ satisfaction.

Gary de Roeck, Creative Director

Gary is an award-winning Creative Director with over 20 years experience in the advertising and marketing industry. His expertise in design, advertising, branding and art direction has contributed to a variety of successful high-profile marketing campaigns from leading national and international clients. In a client facing role Gary frequently steps out of his creative field offering Account Direction, multi-tactical brand strategy, including above and below the line marketing advice at all levels.

Gary’s qualifications include: BA (Hons) Advertising Communication, DipEd Advertising, HND Advertising, OND Graphic Design

Chris Everiss, Digital Account Manager

With 10 years in online marketing and a wealth of experience in both B2C and B2B online marketing, Chris is responsible for ensuring all forms of digital marketing are explored and delivered for clients effectively. He is always looking for new ways to increase clients online opportunities including social media, conversion techniques, search engine optimisation and paid search.

Chris’s qualifications include: BA (Hons) Design & Communication

Helen Eyley, PR Account Manager

Helen has 10 years’ PR experience across both B2C and B2B markets. She specialises in organising strategic and creative PR campaigns, which focus on clients’ individual objectives and encompass media relations and online PR; press office management, event organisation, competitions and promotions; CSR strategies; award entries; reputation and crisis management and internal communications.

In addition, Helen has devised multi-tactical marketing communications campaigns, including media planning and buying; direct mail; workshops and training; script writing and production of DVDs; copywriting for brochures, annual reports, websites, newsletters, e-shots and leaflets. Helen’s qualification include: CAM (Communications, Advertising and Marketing) Diploma, BA (Hons) Fine Art. She is a member of the CIPR.

Simon Kinnear, PR Account Manager

Simon has worked in PR for over 10 years, specialising in copywriting for a broad variety of B2B and B2C clients. Throughout, he has given a voice to position clients in leading trade and consumer titles throughout the UK and Europe, using press releases, features, ‘expert voice’ articles, brochures, leaflets, direct mail, annual reports and social media.

In a prior role, he co-ordinated the press office for a busy NHS Trust, including event management and crisis response.

He is passionate about cinema and in his spare time moonlights as a freelance film journalist and contributor to Total Film magazine, giving him first-hand experience both in writing for a consumer audience and in understanding the requirements of editors.
