Independent Travel

Canada is the second largest country in the world covering 3.8 million sq miles with stunning scenery ranging from the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia to Niagra Falls in Ontario and the icebergs and sealife in Nova Scotia. So when The Independent Traveller, which offers tailor made holidays-of-a-lifetime asked us to design their Canadian brochure, we knew the biggest problem would be fitting it all into just 60 pages!

For a travel brochure to be successful it needs to be exciting, but trustworthy; informative, but not boring; colourful, but not cluttered. In summary it needs to capture the imagination, transporting the reader to another land. To achieve this took months of hard work not just on the design and lay out of each page but also on the order of information – and the ability to be flexible. Just as we finished the hotel section, the number of hotels available increased, meaning we had to start again. However, it was all worth it – The Independent Traveller has reported that not only has the number of people who pick up the brochure increased but also the number that go on to book a holiday. As a result, we have just completed our third brochure for the company.
