Center Parcs offers fantastic employee benefits, but surprisingly, take-up among the staff at Whinfell Forest was low. Managers came to the conclusion that many staff members were not aware of the benefits on offer to them, and so they asked McConnells to create a campaign that would promote the benefits to staff.

Strategy and plan

Design
To remind staff exactly what they were missing out on, McConnells designed a series of four bright and colourful posters – each focused on a different benefit, including employee discounts, childcare vouchers and the Recommend a Friend and Employee Recognition schemes.

Measurement and evaluation

The posters were displayed on the main corridor leading to all staff-only areas. This ensured that they were noticed by all staff and generated interest in the employee benefits.

RESULTS: Take-up of the employee benefits showed a sizeable increase and McConnells was asked to produce similar posters for two other Center Parcs villages.
