We’d like you to meet our team’s most recent recruit, Izzy Brackenbury – Media Administrator.

University of Derby student Izzy will be with us until August 2020 as she spends her placement year as a Media Administrator with the McConnells’ Media Buying Division. Originating from Boston in Lincolnshire, Izzy has come to Derby to study Marketing and Consumer Psychology. With two years of the course already under her belt, she’s spending her third with us, before she completes her degree back on campus next year.

Izzy’s fact file:

Favourite part of the job so far – Learning lots about the media and advertising industry.

Specialist skill – Gymnastics – she’s not only brilliant, she’s also a qualified coach, training aspiring gymnasts of all ages.

Favourite gymnastics move – A classic tuck back.

Wheels – An aubergine-coloured Fiat 500 called Penelope.

Keeping her busy – A part time job at the Cabyn furniture shop in Darley Abbey Mills (specialising in made-to-order homewares, beds and home accessories – check them out www.cabyn.co.uk).
